February 2021 Dividend Income

Another month in the books and it is time for me to post my February 2021 dividend income! It has really been a snowy February here in New York. There has been one snow storm after another each week. I probably shouldn’t really complain considering how Texas really took the brunt of the winter this year. It is now a countdown till Spring. Covid cases are on the decline here in NYC and indoor dining has been reopening at limited capacity again. With any luck, this is the beginning of the end of the pandemic. But without further ado, for February 2021, I received $676.32 in dividend income from ten (10) companies.

  • AT&T (T) – $240.76
  • Sprague Resources (SRLP) – $20.03
  • Omega Healthcare Investors (OHI) – $167.50
  • Procter & Gamble Company (PG) – $19.77
  • Realty Income Corp (O) – $44.09
  • General Mills (GIS) – $52.02
  • AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) – $42.90
  • Verizon (VZ) – $33.89
  • People’s United Financial (PBCT) – $39.96
  • General Dynamics (GD) – $15.40

February 2021 Dividend Income Total: $676.32

Not a recording breaking month, but not a bad month either. This is my “off” month where I get paid the least amount of dividend income from the least number of companies. Nevertheless, I am happy to report that I received my first payment from GD this past month. I was paid by 10 companies this month. This is huge because I am officially being paid by a double-digit number of companies each month now. This month’s dividend income shows 0% year over year growth since last February 2020. I guess there is a first time for everything. There was only a $0.03 difference from last year. Now on to the dividend increases.

  • MMM increased dividend to $1.48 per share resulting in a $0.76 increase.
  • GSK increased dividend to $0.620 per share resulting in a $53.28 increase.
  • MPW increased dividend to $0.28 per share resulting in a $36.00 increase.
  • CSCO increased dividend to $0.37 per share resulting in a $1.84 increase.
  • UPS increased dividend to $1.02 per share resulting in a $0.80 increase.
  • GPC increased dividend to $0.815 per share resulting in a $3.50 increase.

All in all, this month’s dividend increases totaled $96.18.

This month’s dividend increase amount was slightly above last years. Lots of companies I own either minimized the amount raised or kept their dividends frozen. Hopefully, this means that by towards the 2nd half of the year I will start to see the usual yearly dividend increases kick in.

Thus, this concludes my February 2021 dividend income. My portfolio is now set to generate $11,156 in dividend income over the next 12 months. Looking forward to a record-breaking March. So, how did you do this past month? Break any records? Also, did you get plenty of dividend increases? Let me know in the comments below!
