Wow, the month is over and it is time to post my May 2024 dividend income!
The weather has warmed up nicely and my allergies have been kicking in hard.
This always happens the 4-6weeks of Spring when the pollen starts falling.
Thank goodness for Claritin.
Other then that, it was pretty much just chilling, going on hikes, and improving myself each day.

May 2024 Dividend Income
But without further ado, for May 2024, I received $1,043.45 in dividend income from 13 stocks!
- T – $167.89
- OHI – $167.50
- PG – $33.21
- O – $101.52
- GIS – $60.18
- ABBV – $62.00
- VZ – $107.07
- GD – $19.88
- NNN – $64.41
- TXN – $37.70
- MPW – $135.00
- UPS – $48.90
- SBUX – $38.19
May 2024 Dividend Income Total: $1,043.45
Woah! This is the first time I ever received over $1K on a mid-quarter month!
Of course, it was because MPW and UPS paid out this month (which usually is not what happens).
Nevertheless, I consider this to be awesome!
This month shows a 44% year over year increase from May 2023.
Holy Sh*t! Amazing double-digit growth, but it really was because MPW and UPS changed their payout dates.
We shall see if it stays that way.
Overall, a great month for dividend income, but not so good for raises.
Dividend Raises (and cuts)
And now, without further ado, here are my dividend increases (and cuts) from May 2024!
- PEP increased dividend to $1.355 per share, resulting in a $11.52 increase.
- LEG decreased dividend to $0.05 per share, resulting in a $257.48 decrease.
- CAH increased dividend to $0.5056 per share, resulting in a $0.90 increase.
- MMM decreased dividend to $0.70 per share, resulting in a $81.00 decrease.
- O increased dividend to $0.2625 per share, resulting in a $26.07 increase.
- MDT increased dividend to $0.70 per share, resulting in a $3.11 increase.
- LYB increased dividend to $1.34 per share, resulting in a $14.40 increase.
All in all, dividend increases for May 2024 totaled: $56.00
Despite the bright spots, this was a harsh month for sure.
When you calculate the difference between decreases and increases, you will see I am in the red by $201.48.
Ouch. Also, those who follow along know that I have since sold my entire position in LEG.
That’s just the way the cookie crumbles.
My over investing strategy remains the same.

As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $15,006 in dividend income over the next 12 months.
