Another month in the books and it is time for me to post my April 2021 Dividend Income! I am glad April is over. That month seemed to drag on and on for me. The main reason was the ordeal with the pipes in my bathroom ceiling breaking over the weeks. This caused water to leak down and my ceiling to collapse. Thankfully, that is over and everything is fixed. On a more positive note, I did end up making some great new stock purchases this April. But without further ado, for April 2021, I received $742.81 in dividend income from eleven (11) companies!

April 2021 Dividend Income Total: $742.81
That is a record amount of dividend income for a quarter starting month! This month shows a 24.5% year over year increase compared with April 2020. Can’t complain about another month of nice double-digit growth. In addition, I also received my first dividend payment from CSCO this month. Thus, I can safely say, it was a pretty good financial month. Now on to April’s dividend increases!
- PG increased dividend to $0.8698 per share resulting in a $10.44 increase.
- JNJ increased dividend to $1.06 per share resulting in a $3.20 increase.
- SO increased dividend to $0.66 per share resulting in a $16.24 increase.
- IBM increased dividend to $1.64 per share resulting in a $3.82 increase.
- CVX increased dividend to $1.34 per share resulting in a $3.20 increase.
All in all, this month’s dividend increases totaled $36.90.
Yes, the dividend increases are back! Compared to last April, it is great to see companies increasing their dividends again. In terms of new stock purchases, I am currently in the saving up phase accumulating cash. I probably won’t be making any new purchases until late June and into July. May is my “off” month, so it is pretty much going to be chilling, collecting, and enjoying the nice weather. With the pandemic nearing its final end, things are really starting to open up now. This is great!
And that concludes my April 2021 dividend income. My portfolio is set to generate $11,384 in dividend income over the next 12 months. Onwards to the $12K milestone! So, how did you do this month?
