And thus ends the first month of 2025 and it is time to post my January 2025 dividend income!
It was a fairly cold and uneventful January (in terms of my life, of course).
I ended up getting Covid-19 and was out of commission for over a week. I am still recovering from this and hopefully soon I will be 100% again.
In any even I am still excited for the new year and all the opportunities a new year will bring!

- ITW – $34.50
- CAH – $22.75

- MPW – $72.00

- SYY – $20.40
January 2025 Dividend Income Total: $807.87
Not a bad way to start the new year!
This month shows a 0.009% year over year increase in growth from January 2024.
Wow, 3 digits before the decimal point. That is a first. There was only a $0.07 difference in growth from last year.
It is what it is. A better first is that I received my first ever payment from SYY.
Dividend Raises (and Cuts)

And now, without further ado, here are my dividend increases from January 2025!
- ED increased dividend to $0.85 per share, resulting in a $8.40 increase.
- BLK increased dividend to $5.21 per share, resulting in a $2.64 increase.
- CVX increased dividend to $1.71 per share, resulting in a $9.60 increase.
- WBA suspended dividend, resulting in a $85.00 loss.
All in all, dividend increases for January 2025 totaled: $20.64
That is 4 pay raises this past month!
When you factor in the WBA suspension, however, you can see a loss of $64.36 in dividends for the month.
Conclusion

Thus, we conclude my dividend income report for the month!
As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $15,893.28 in dividend income over the next 12 months.
