Gosh, we are in the last month of the year and it is time to post my November 2019 dividend income. Did this year fly by or what? Really, this is it. Later this month, I will post my financial goals for 2020. Next month, after the year finishes, I will post the results of the goals I set for 2019. I also want to total up the amount gain from dividend increases alone for the year 2019. Although, it is sad to see another year go by so fast, I am looking forward to setting new goals for the new year and reviewing the progress over the past year. But without further ado, for November 2019, I received $667.06 in dividend income from seven (7) companies.
- AT&T (T) – $236.13
- Sprague Resources (SRLP) – $116.81
- Omega Healthcare Investors (OHI) – $167.50
- Procter & Gamble Company (PG) – $18.65
- Realty Income Corp (O) – $42.68
- General Mills (GIS) – $49.98
- AbbVie Inc. (ABBV) – $35.31
November 2019 Dividend Income Total: $667.06
A good month, but not the best month. This month shows a year over year decrease of 25.2%. Nothing shocking here. The decrease is due to my summer re-balancing of my portfolio. The re-balance shifted much of my dividend income away from the mid-quarter months and to the beginning and ending quarter months. As a result, this month is lower than my previous while December 2019 and January 2020 will be higher. Overall, I am on the past to achieving record breaking yearly dividend income.
Next, these are the dividend increases. First, GSK increased their dividend to $0.481 per share. This raised my forward annual dividend from $497.45 to $498.57 for a $1.09 increase from GSK. A small increase, but I will take it! Second and lastly, ABBV increased their dividend to $1.18 per share. This raised my forward annual dividend from $141.24 to $155.76 for a $14.52 increase from ABBV. Altogether, these dividend increases total $15.61 added to my forward yearly dividend income.
And with that, we are in the final month of 2019. As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $9,725 in dividend income over the next 12 months. I am expecting to close out the year with record dividend income (upwards of $9,400). Looking forward to the new year. How did the rest of you do? Reach any new milestones?
