Alright, time to post about my recent buys – INTC, LEG, and TROW, along with a new milestone to celebrate ($300K) and a few small changes. Spring is nearly here and the weather is starting to warm up nicely. Last week, I hung my winter coat in the closet and hopefully won’t see it again until next year.
Spring is considered a season of renew or rebirth. A season of change. So, here is a new change I made to the website. Still working out a few kinks, but overall, it’s something fun, new, and different. Every now and then you have to change things up.
In addition, and especially with my recent buys, my portfolio has crossed the $300K milestone in value! That is pretty awesome. Of course, the most important thing is still dividend income. However, it is also great to cross new milestones.
Other than that, it is a matter of replenishing my dividend income after the T cut (which amounted to a loss of $449 in dividends). Thus, these recent buys will go along way towards increasing my dividend income back to what it once was before the cut.
This is the month I plan on rebuilding my dividend income and emerging in a stronger position then before! In this series of stock purchases, I bought one new stock and beefed up two stocks I already owned.
First, I will start with the new stock. I bought 13 shares of TROW which added $62.40 in annual dividend income to my portfolio. Thus, TROW became the 51st stock in my portfolio.
Next, I purchased an additional 40 shares of INTC. This purchase added $58.40 in dividend income. Now I own 80 shares of INTC. Therefore, my total annual dividend income from INTC is $116.80!
Lastly, I bought an additional 56 shares of LEG. This purchase added $94.08 in dividend income. As a result, I now own 157 shares of LEG. Therefore, my total dividend income from LEG annually is $263.76.
All in all, my recent buys added a total of $214.68 in new forward dividend income!
Thus, concludes my recent buys – INTC, LEG, and TROW. Not too bad at all. As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $12,282 in dividend income over the next 12 months. This is very likely the first series of stock purchases for this month. If things go according to plan, I will be making additional purchases later this month. Should be exciting!
So, what do you think of my recent buys? Do you own any of these companies? Also, what do you think of the new website scheme so far? Let me know in the comments below!
