Recent Stock Buys and Sell

Alright, here is the new series of recent stock buys – SBUX, CSCO, EMN and JNJ – and one stock sell.

I will start with my recent stock sell. It has actually been a long while since I fully sold off a stock.

As many of you already know, LEG cut its dividend by 90%. Ouch.

How much did I lose? Well, it really doesn’t matter since I sold off the entire stock.

Selling all my LEG shares reduced my dividend income by $288.88 annually.

In any event, I took the money from the LEG and put it to better use by investing in new stocks.

And with that, let’s move on to my stock buys!

Recent Buys

To start off, I bought 27 shares of SBUX. This was mainly purchased using the cash from the LEG sale.

With that, I added $61.56 in additional dividend income.

I now own 67 shares of SBUX in total.

Next, I bought 43 shares of CSCO. This added $68.80 in new dividend income.

I now own a total of 110 shares of CSCO.

My next stock purchase was 13 shares of JNJ. Thus adding $64.48 in dividend income.

Therefore, I now own 60 shares of JNJ.

Lastly, I bought 10 shares of EMN, which added $32.40 in additional dividend income.

I now own 53 shares of EMN.

All in all, dividends gained from these recent stock purchases totaled: $227.24

Conclusion

An there are my recent stock buys and sell!

No new stocks added, rather I added on to positions I already owned.

I still end up in the red after the LEG sell, but I shall recover (and quickly too).

As of this post, my portfolio is set to generate $15,044 in dividend income over the next 12 months.
